Bantayan island is a small island in the northern part of Cebu. The island has a long beautiful beach with only small hotels and hostels.

Travel to and from

Bantayan do have a small landing strip for airplanes. Unfortunately it seems to be out fo business at the moment. So the best way to go there is by ferry from Cebu island. From Cebu city you just go on a van or jeep to Hagnaya close to the north tip of Cebu island. The ferries usually travel with a couple of hours between them and cost less than 100PHP.

Hotels

Still Bantayan island is relatively spared of huge hotel chains. Most places where you can stay are often family owned guesthouses, bungalows and smaller hotels. Links to hotels you can find in our hotel guide.
